Introducing LEAP

The Legal English Accelerator Project – LEAP is our latest offering.

Legal professionals are expected to demonstrate an exceptionally high level of working English, and show constant improvement as their career progresses. In reality, sooner or later most of us will hit the glass ceiling for being unable to improve our English skills.

LEAP is designed to help.

Joining the accelerator is easy and results can be expected immediately.

The program is personally and discreetly tailored to individual goals, needs and professional profile.

For a free consultation please contact Jonathan.

Small Firm Practicing Biglaw

The partners at Katzenell Dimant hired me to upgrade their digital content, and the results were impressive. When I started working with Ran Dimant and Einat Katzenell I don’t think they had imagined how far I could take their brand.

After nine steady months of editorial services we had compiled enough content and copy, not to mention a refined branding concept and a fresh new logo, to create the most impressive website among small-medium law firms in Israel.

Launched in summer 2016, kdlaw.co.il has +150 pages of original content, including blog posts, news and updates, history of transactions, description of practice areas, attorney bios, firm profile and even a podcast section where you can listen to these talented lawyers speak.

kdlaw.co.il is unparalleled in local standards, and with just 3 partners Katzenell Dimant continues to share more relevant content and benefits from higher engagement than most 40-partner firms can dream of.

Published // Unicorns to Mules

In this long-form post published on LinkedIn Pulse and titled “When Unicorns become Mules” Achiad Harel, Head of Bankruptcy Practice at AYR, explains why even unicorns must know about Chapter 11 protection.

I had the pleasure of working with Achiad and providing Editorial Services for this piece.

Achiad Harel is an expert on bankruptcy and restructuring and has developed a unique specialization in corporate recovery with an emphasis on distressed startups and technology companies. Achiad represents clients in all instances of court, arbitration and mediation, and is often appointed liquidator, receiver or special administrator.

Unicorn to Mule_400

From the post: “When Unicorns become Mules“:

כיזמים וכמנהלים תשמעו הרבה על Lean Start-Up, ועל Agile, על Go to Market ועל Crossing the Chasm, אבל אף אחד לא יסביר לכם מה לעשות כשהכסף נגמר והשקעת המשך אינה נראית באופק.

Encouraging your talent

Dull-Scotland

In my roll as editor I work closely and intimately with lawyers for producing high-end, original content, mostly blog posts, intended for publication on their corporate website and distribution via social media channels.

These lawyers are smart, sharp and energetic, and advise on highly complex business transactions or represent clients in high profile litigation, yet they often encounter the worst kind of writer’s block, being convinced they have nothing interesting to write about, no good story to tell, or at least nothing their audience would care enough about to actually read.

So I keep having to remind my talent that they are far from Dull, thousands of miles from Boring and oceans apart of Bland.

And if they don’t believe me I show them this map and the article in The Sun where it was published:

map620_1738088a

“The New South Wales town of around 6,000 residents was named after London-born William Bland — who was anything but.

He was transported as a convict in 1814 after killing a sailor in a duel in Bombay. He was later pardoned and went on to found the Australian Medical Council.

Dull, in Perth and Kinross, made headlines around the world when it twinned with Boring, Oregon.

The two have grown so close that last year August 9 was made Boring and Dull Day in celebration.”

Cumbersome regulation is a spin and we now that for a fact, albeit few dare to discuss the real causes behind Tel Aviv’s IPO desiccation.

I had the privilege of working with Ran Dimant of Katzenell Dimant and providing editorial services on this great piece.
